Will Mariner 4:12pm Apr 10th Subject: Wakefield CATV Apil 24, 2011 Bob; I accompanied Jennifer McQuaid on piano and also performed a solo set afterwards. I was told I would receive a dvd of the audition. In fact, you agreed to it with the video director. Jennifer informed me just minutes ago that you are refusing to give her (and me) a copy. Is this true? She said you mentioned something about not being happy with sound and production and not wanting it to be put on the internet. Needless to say, I am disapointed to say the least. When you have people come to a studio and offer them something and then withdraw that offer after the fact, causes unnecessary suspicion. I have been involved with television before and have always been shown the courtesy of being given a dvd copy. As it is not given as an affiliation of any corporation or group or individual, I see no harm. I would appreciate getting together with you in some fashion to resolve this to our mutual satisfaction. |

1-You did not 'do a set', you were allowed an unscheduled audition.
2-You were not invited, and in fact never even applied for an audition.
3-That opportunity was requested for you by Jennifer, and made possible as a favor to Jennifer.
4-(When you do a Studio Session Live show, you get a polished copy, for self promotion.)
5-This audition is not “given as an affiliation of any corporation or group or individual” is wrong.
6-it is precisely the effort of Studio Session Live, which is not the property of any station.
7- it is the property of Studio Session Live, and is intended to evaluate talent.
8_The specialized sound equipment is not supplied by the station.
9- It is the property of, and supplied by, Studio Session Live.
10- Obviously I am not happy with the ‘show’ quality. It was not a 'show', it was an 'audition'.
In spite of all this misinformation, I will make you the dvd after you:
First, check the auditions page, and send me the audition information requested.
Second, When I get a signed, initialed and notarized copy of the Studio Session Live Talent Release, I will then make you the dvd.
